Merging all of these ideas together is quite hard. Although they all fit together in some way or another its hard thinking what ideas I want to use and what influences to take from everything. I think that I want to something in either photography (in a series of photographs to tell a story) or in an animation.
My final idea is this; I want to tell a story about a girl, who is in a beautiful world. She would be dancing though an enchanted forest which would be dark but also bright in places with the sun shinning though gaps in the trees. She’s skipping along when she spots a door. Curious, she opens it and steps through entering our world but as a graffiti drawing on the world. Loving her new world she begins to dance but she is getting no attention from the outside, like she doesn’t exist. She is then not loving our world because she is not been loved, not been seen. She draws a draw using chalk she finds in her pocket and leaves our world behind.
I wanted this to portray graffiti art and how no one really sees it as art and how people just ignore and don’t appreciate the beauty that it actually is. I think that it also talks about how art itself is not really as popular as it once was, especially by my generation. It is not looked at and it is not loved just like the girl in my animation/photographs.
